Heath Pucel lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and has a passion for preaching, teaching, and training the Word. The Lord graciously granted me repentance unto salvation from my false conversion in 2004, when I was praying for how to share my faith biblically. Previous witnessing training was found to be more lifestyle evangelism. But in 2004, Heath was brought to repentance in faith through the ministry of Living Waters. Since then, God has placed the calling, desire, and burden to preach the gospel in Green Bay, around the country, and abroa

Heath has ministered and preached at numerous SFOI events, including 12 Super Bowl Outreaches, several Kentucky Derby’s, and other events. Locally, Heath ministers at fairs, festivals, Jehovah’s Witness conventions, the Green Bay Packer Games, weekly campus ministry, and bi-weekly bar ministry in Appleton.

God loses nothing in His economy. Using the passion, talents, and gifts He has provided Heath as a former corporate trainer and a desire to study and teach His word, in 2020 Heath partnered with SFOI to provide Keep Your Finger in the Text (KYFITT) workshops starting at the George Whitefield Program Annual Conference.

Heath is a lifelong learner, highly experienced, respected preacher, teacher, and trainer with 20+ years of experience preparing and delivering impactful sermons in the pulpit and open-air. He has attended more than 15 sermon preparation workshops for his own growth, and he has led more than 30 workshops, impacting 300+ preachers and teachers of God's Word.

With continued partnership with SFOI, KYFITT has produced several opportunities encouraging preachers to commit to expository preaching in the open air and preparing and mobilizing them to make progress in that commitment. The foundation is the KYFITT Workshops, which are held three times a year, introducing preachers to the tools, principles, and strategies of interpreting and communicating a biblical text in the open air. Ongoing progress is accomplished through Keep Your Finger in the Text–Taking Reps, which meet weekly to engage in open-air sermon preparation.

In 2024, the George Whitefield Preach Academy was announced and launched in February. This is a two-year certificate program designed for open air preachers. Preparing them with the skills, ethos and lifelong commitment to expository preaching in the open air. Then mobilizing them as the next generation of George Whitefield’s faithful open-air expository preachers. Heath also serves as one of the faculty in the George Whitefield Program Annual Fellowship Conference, conducting a KYFITT Workshop, and also fills pulpit support for local churches.

Heath realizes that none of this can be done without the support of his wife of 20 years and the Holy Spirit doing a work as we pray, prepare, and study God’s Word with all praise, glory, and honor due His name. Partner with Heath to take the gospel to people in North Eastern Wisconsin so they will become Christians and equip sound expository preachers to minister the gospel in their areas.

Below you will find teaching and interviews regarding the teaching and how you can get involved and make progress in your preaching and teaching of God’s word.
