If you have recently been born again, your soul raised from the dead, leading to your repentance of your unbelief as demonstrated by your sins and placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, the imputation of His righteousness and reconciliation with the Father, the best way to learn about God, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and draw near to Him is to ask the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:20) to reveal God to you by reading your Bible, prayer and obedience to His word.

This growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and knowing the true and living God will be your primary ongoing work as a Christian. It is your responsibility to pray, study the Word and live the life. This is what Jesus meant when He said in John 6:29, “ Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”

Then find a gathering of Christians in your area where the word of God is preached faithfully and Christ is exalted. This can be a challenge in our day; but if you want orthodox, historical Christian teaching and don’t know how to find it Contact Us or use the Church Map.

Read God’s word more than you read anything else. You can also learn much from other Christians who have studied the Bible for many years.
