Daily Devotional 4-25-15

IF YOU, O LORD, KEPT A RECORD OF SINS, O LORD,
WHO COULD STAND?  BUT WITH YOU THERE IS
FORGIVENESS; THEREFORE YOU ARE FEARED.
( PSALM 130:3-4 NIV )

Friend, we are all guilty of sinning.  So thank God that HE HAS RESCUED
US FROM THE DOMINION OF DARKNESS AND
BROUGHT US INTO THE KINGDOM OF THE SON HE
LOVES, IN WHOM WE HAVE REDEMPTION, THE
FORGIVENESS OF SINS.  ( COLOSSIANS 1:13-14 )

For; IN HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS
BLOOD, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE RICHES OF GOD’S GRACE THAT HE
LAVISHED ON US WITH ALL WISDOM AND
UNDERSTANDING.  ( EPHESIANS 1:7-8 )

We must first repent of our sins to be
forgiven.  So we should boldly pray, as Jesus taught us,
FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE ALSO HAVE
FORGIVEN OUR DEBTORS.  ( MATTHEW 6:12 )
Then RID YOURSELVES OF ALL THE OFFENSES YOU
HAVE COMMITTED.  ( EZEKIEL 18:31 )

After all; “COME NOW, LET US REASON TOGETHER,”
SAYS THE LORD. “THOUGH YOUR SINS ARE LIKE
SCARLET, THEY SHALL BE WHITE AS SNOW;
THOUGH THEY ARE RED AS CRIMSON THEY SHALL
BE LIKE WOOL.”  ( ISAIAH 1:18 )  For; BLESSED IS
HE WHOSE TRANSGRESSIONS ARE FORGIVEN.
BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOSE SIN THE LORD DOES
NOT COUNT AGAINST HIM AND IN WHOSE SPIRIT IS
NO DECEIT.   Amen.   ( PSALM 32:1-2 )

With My Love & Prayers,
your servant
